Just wanted to do a quick post to let any brides out there know, that I am still available for many dates this year. Including the ever popular 10-10-10!!

I love doing weddings and they are so much fun. I love getting to know the couple and helping to capture this very special day.

The last few weeks have been.... stressful, exciting, fun, interesting, tiring, the list goes on and on.

It all started with doing some renos on my office/studio! SUPER happy with what the final results are going to look like. My office/studio is a work in progress and when it is completely finished, I will share with you how it looks.

My mom has come for a visit from Edmonton, and her visit has been short and sweet. On Wednesday I will be turning around and taking her back to Toronto to catch her flight back to Edmonton. :(

My sister was supposed to pack up her life and her belongings and head back out with my mother, but as fate would have it, we managed to find an affordable, cute little condo that allows pets for my sister to live in(YAY)! This week will be busy as we putter around packing all of her stuff for the big move this week.

Last weekend I attended the Awaken Workshop hosted by Dave & Charlotte. It was awesome and this is something that any one coming into this business should attend. If you have questions about marketing, branding, pricing, camera settings, posing, and anything else that you are questioning you should attend. This is a workshop that they are hoping to make yearly, next year I hope it will be bigger and better. So keep it in mind!

All of this brings me to yesterday. Ahh yesterday. It was such a breath of fresh air. In the midst of all the crazy things I have been doing, it's so nice to get back to what I love the most. Photography. I had the opportunity to shoot a pair of twins that are just so adorable and tiny. I first met Mackenzie and Aurora last year. I took pictures of them when I first started my business, and I was thrilled when their mother, Heather asked me to take pictures again this year. I was exited to see them again and see how they have grown and developed. Let me tell ya, these 2 little girls are on the move! One year ago it was easy to get pictures of the two of them together. Now, it's a different story. They are both independent and have such different personalities. It's awesome. So, with out further hesitation here is Mack & Rory....

Mini-Potrait Day! Parry Sound Photographer

I have been thinking about doing something like this for a while actually.  Now, I am just jumping in head first and doing it. Here are the deets:

When: May 15th 2010 (Rain date will be May 29th 2010)

Time: 10:00am-6:00pm

Where: TBD

Cost: $100.00 (this includes tax)

What you will get is a 30 minute session and this is for kids only. Bring your kids to the location and I will have everything set up and we will take some awesome pics of your kids. You will get 25 images on DVD  for printing. These are high-res images and they can be enlarged to what-ever size you would like.  I have 14 spots open and the earlier you sign up the better!! This will be an outdoor shoot, and it will be awesome!! I am going to have a vintage sofa for the shoot so your kids will look oh-so-cute and be comfy while we are doing this.

Please email me your info and what time you would like. In order to reserve your spot I will require a deposit. These may go quickly so email me and get your desired time!

That's just funny...

I am a dog lover. The moment you walk into my house, you know this. I have 3 Dogs. 3 Boston Terriers to be exact. I love them all, and they all have very different personalities. For now, I am just going to introduce you to one..... His name is Tristan, and his tongue is too long for his mouth (at least this is what we think).

He is our first. The "original", if that's what some may say. He is very friendly, very lovable. He barks too much, which is something I am trying to work on, and he must have human contact at all times. Either it be in the form of cuddling on the couch or sneaking into bed with me and my husband in the middle of the night. He is a good dog, but more importantly he is our dog. Enjoy these few pictures of Tristan along with his dried-out, wrinkled looking tongue. We sure do get a kick out of it sometimes!
