Hey everyone!
So we are down to one month until the portrait shoot and I am getting super excited. I have so many great ideas in my head for that day and I can't wait to meet everyone!
The vintage couch(it's actually a settee (fancy french, I know)) is on order and it will be so cute, I can't wait for everyone to see it. It took a while to find the perfect fabric and the right look as to what I had in my mind. Thankfully there are some great people out there who know exactly what you are looking for and are willing to help.
As far as the location goes I will be going out on a serious hunt tomorrow to find the perfect location. I went on a search a few weeks ago and there was still some snow and it was a little muddy, so I waited until now to go looking again. Once I find the location I will contact everyone with directions, and of course I will be giving everyone my cell number just incase.
Mother nature has be very kind to us, so I am hoping that the weather will be great one month from now. Fingers crossed!
To all of those that have signed up Thank you so much. For those of you who have been thinking about it, now is the time. This is an amazing deal, and the experience will be a lot of fun. I have 7 spots left, so please email me your info and what time spot you would like. I will require a deposit to hold your time.
So spread the word like wildfire!! I am really hoping to fill up these spots!!
Can't wait!!

New Wedding Package
I have decided to introduce a new package price for any future brides out there. This is a package that is smaller then what I had previously started offering. Now my package will start at $1500.00 and this is an excellent package. It has shorter coverage, which is something that I had been asked for in the past. My past packages started with 8 Hours of coverage, they now start at 6 Hours of coverage.
For more details on what's included, please visit my site www.cassiejacklinimages.com or shoot me an email and I would be happy to send you a detailed package list.

I LURVE them! Parry Sound Wedding Photographer
So about ten days ago I excitedly put in an order for Canvas prints. This is something I have been wanting to do for months. Oh the excitement and anticipation! I couldn't wait for them to be here.....
Guess what??? They arrived yesterday. And. I. LURVE. Them.
They are awesome. They are beautiful. They are perfect.
I ordered these babies from GTA imaging, and I must admit I was a little nervous to order from them because, I had not seen the work in person. Every other company that I was thinking about ordering from I had seen the work. I went to a workshop and heard great things about their canvas prints, so I went out on a limb and ordered away.
Any photographer who is thinking about ordering canvas prints.. Do it! You will not be disappointed. They add that little oh-la-la factor to your studio or office. Take a peek and let me know what ya think!

It's Exciting!!! Parry Sound Photographer
I hope everyone's Easter weekend was fantastic! I know ours here was great, we had awesome weather, great people to keep us company and lots of chocolate!
Our Friday was spent with good friends at an awesome bbq. Such yummy burgers! Lots of laughs and some good conversation took place. Not to mention a little easter egg hunt put on by our lovely friends for the kiddos!
Saturday was spent with family all day. Another day filled with great people and good food. We had our Easter dinner on Saturday at my mother-in-laws home and every little bit of food on my plate was gone.... I also went back for seconds. So Good!! I also learned how to play Euchre. Well... to be honest I am still learning, but I got the basic's of the game and at least now I can participate. Although I would probably be the last person they would want to play with. Kinda like how on the playground, everyone is lined up and the captains choose their players.... one by one.. I would definitely be the last one picked. :)
Sunday was our little Easter egg hunt that we set up for Selah. She loved it. As soon as we opened up her bedroom door, there it was. A single egg, she gasped and was very curious! So we handed her the Tinkerbell bucket and away she went. All through the house and even outside in the backyard. Everytime she saw another egg she said "MORE!" and she kept on going! As she was coming inside, we all of a sudden heard her say "It's so Exciting!!". It was pretty funny, and oh-so-cute! Here are some pictures from that wonderful Easter Egg hunt. Leave a comment so I can see what you did this past weekend! I would love to hear all about it!

Candy Jar
I like it. I think it's pretty. I also think it adds a little bit of fun to my office. This little project took me the last week to accomplish. I purchased huge bags of m&ms from my local bulk foods store and proceeded to separate each colour ( a very tedious project might I add). I only wanted a few colours, so that made process even longer and even more tedious. Ugh. Alas, I did it and here it is in all it's glory.
Now, when I have clients come into the studio they can enjoy a little treat. I love m&ms, and who doesn't?
I will be posting a little post-Easter entry and I would love to hear how everyone's weekend went!!
Until then Happy Easter Everyone!!

Wedding Dates-Parry Sound Wedding Photographer
Just wanted to do a quick post to let any brides out there know, that I am still available for many dates this year. Including the ever popular 10-10-10!!
I love doing weddings and they are so much fun. I love getting to know the couple and helping to capture this very special day.
If you know of any brides looking for a photographer, send 'em my way. I would love to sit down, chat, and get to know them.
Of course, what would any blog post be without a picture.

Mack & Rory-Parry Sound Photographer
The last few weeks have been.... stressful, exciting, fun, interesting, tiring, the list goes on and on.
It all started with doing some renos on my office/studio! SUPER happy with what the final results are going to look like. My office/studio is a work in progress and when it is completely finished, I will share with you how it looks.
My mom has come for a visit from Edmonton, and her visit has been short and sweet. On Wednesday I will be turning around and taking her back to Toronto to catch her flight back to Edmonton. :(
My sister was supposed to pack up her life and her belongings and head back out with my mother, but as fate would have it, we managed to find an affordable, cute little condo that allows pets for my sister to live in(YAY)! This week will be busy as we putter around packing all of her stuff for the big move this week.
Last weekend I attended the Awaken Workshop hosted by Dave & Charlotte. It was awesome and this is something that any one coming into this business should attend. If you have questions about marketing, branding, pricing, camera settings, posing, and anything else that you are questioning you should attend. This is a workshop that they are hoping to make yearly, next year I hope it will be bigger and better. So keep it in mind!
All of this brings me to yesterday. Ahh yesterday. It was such a breath of fresh air. In the midst of all the crazy things I have been doing, it's so nice to get back to what I love the most. Photography. I had the opportunity to shoot a pair of twins that are just so adorable and tiny. I first met Mackenzie and Aurora last year. I took pictures of them when I first started my business, and I was thrilled when their mother, Heather asked me to take pictures again this year. I was exited to see them again and see how they have grown and developed. Let me tell ya, these 2 little girls are on the move! One year ago it was easy to get pictures of the two of them together. Now, it's a different story. They are both independent and have such different personalities. It's awesome. So, with out further hesitation here is Mack & Rory....
